A Celebration

Friends, this has been a busy week. Matt's birthday, Millie gettin sick, trying to catch up at work--it has been nonstop.

Today, we wrap up on more post on the Week of Matty--but have no fear, you will certainly hear more about that kid in the future! (He has even promised me a guest post, so hold onto your hats for that!)

Tuesday evening, we had a lovely little celebration at our house for Matt's birthday. It was just the two of us, plus our puppy daughter, Millicent. We enjoyed a dinner of crab cakes, pasta salad, and bread, plus chocolate pie for dessert. I even splurged and bought some nice champagne, because you only turn 30 once (unless you have a time you have a time machine?).

Romantic table for two, please!
This is one of Matt's favorite foods, and my least favorite. I managed to eat half of one before I couldn't handle the crabby taste.

Toast to being thirty, flirty, and thriving.
All in all, I would say Matt had a very successful birthday, and we both got a little creeper in our eye as we thought about all the many wonderful birthdays ahead that we get to spend with each other.

Have a great weekend friends, and you'll be sure to hear more about this birthday dinner in a Treat Yo Self post next week.
