Just Another Music Monday, V.4

Let's talk about The Civil Wars.

No, I am not referring to the "recent unpleasantness," as some southerners used to say, I'm talking about a band.

The Civil Wars have been around for a few years. The band has a folksy sound that makes me feel like I'm back home among the Appalachian Mountains, which is definitely a good thing.  They received a grammy for their debut album, Barton Hollow, and, for all the teeny boppers out there, they did a duet for The Hunger Games soundtrack with T. Swift.

Despite their success, they cancelled part of their last tour and were kinda sorta breaking up. Apparently there was a lot of drama during that time, but they managed to translate all of that into total brilliance, with the release of their latest self-titled album, The Civil Wars.

The album cover says it all.
To give you a taste, here's the single from their new album. Give it a listen and get on over to itunes so you can download the whole thing. You're welcome.
