Fashionably Late: Kate Spade Outfit

Were you expecting a Treat Yo Self Tuesday post? Well we can't always get what we want.

I thought I would switch it up this week and do a fashion post--because it basically stems from me treating myself, when I went crazy at the Kate Spade outlet last week. (But by all means, please don't stop treating yourself today because I'm doing a different post--have at it!)

I also thought of this clever title and needed to share--get it?!?!? Fashionably LATE?!?! That probably made no sense at all to you, did it? I always feel like I am late to the party when it comes to fashion trends (and fashion in general), so I felt it was appropriate. Thanks to Pinterest and various fashion bloggers, I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of this "dress cute"thing, and I hope you'll join me as I document these adventures.

So, let's get to it, shall we?

This past week, Kate Spade had an awesome sale going on at the outlets, and I figured it would be just the thing to satisfy my retail therapy itch (but do I still feel a wild urge to shop? yes). I went a little crazy, but I also had a gift card, which helped take the edge off. One thing I bought was a pair of white skinnies, which meant I better be wearing them before Labor Day! I also bought a peplum top--as per usual, late to the game on the peplum trend, but I've actually tried to find one for a while and they always fit me weird. This one, however, was a winner and looked perfect with the white skinnies, so duh, I bought it.

Alright, I'm working on this fashion photo thing, okay? I mean, how do you ladies take these pictures and look all poised? Karly and Leslie--I'm lookin at you.

And yes, the bag I'm carrying was also part of my purchase--hello, 60% off handbags!

So how did I do on my second fashion post? I also bought a skirt on this particular KSNY trip, so don't worry--there's plenty more fashion where that came from!
