Matty T., ESPN Superstar

Remember a few weeks ago, when I mentioned we had some big news to share? (And before you can even think it, I AM NOT PREGNANT.)

Well, it just so happens that my dear husband, Matty T., was invited to film a segment on ESPN. So, we're basically, like, celebrities now.

No autographs, please
Let me tell you a little bit about my husband. Like most guys (and some gals!), he is a sports fanatic. The difference with Matt, however, is that he can remember famous athletes--past and present--like no other person I have ever encountered. Part of this stems from his childhood hobby of collecting sports cards and memorizing everything he could learn about his favorite athletes. Since Matty is the smartest guy I know, he parlayed that knowledge into a career involving sports memorabilia. One day, he just up and decided he would contact a program on ESPN to see if they were interested in doing a segment about his job. Obvi, they were, and the rest is history.

I want go into details on what that means, because that's revealed in the video and it just won't make sense if I try to put it in type. Before I share this hotly anticipated video with you, I have a few words to say to my dear, sweet husband:

Matty, I mean it when I say you are the smartest guy I know. You basically made all of this happen--with your drive, your work ethic, and your creativity. It never ceases to amaze me the way you will take the tiniest idea and transform it into a grand scheme, all without losing sleep and still being the best husband (and doodle father) ever. I'm proud of you every day, but today I just had to tell you that through a blog post.

Now that the vom-worthy part is over, here is the video:

Much Love,

Kate
p.s. Sorry for being a Boastful Betty, but sometimes ya just gotta toot your own horn.
