Poor Life Decisions

Back in the days of Singledom, my friend and I would text each other any time we made a Poor Life Decision (PLD). Typically, these revolved around imbibing just a little too much. For example, one text might read, "two glasses of malbec and I sang Journey at karaoke last night. so glad I get to work at 7:30 this morning. PLD." Or, another text might say "started texting my ex last night and I think we are back together. PLD."
Nothing like hydrating after an evening of PLDs!
However, PLDs need not revolve around alcohol or boys--they can be about anything! For example, "going crazy at Chipotle before an 8 hour road trip...PLD." You see where I'm going with this?

My most recent PLD was yesterday, when I was home sick and decided I would watch World War Z, followed by episodes of Supernatural, then one episode of the Walking Dead, THEN I topped it all off by watching the latest episode of Sleepy Hollow. This may be all well and good, and I like to think that I can't get scared, but watching all of this may not have been the best idea, considering Matt left for a business trip this morning. It's not even noon and I'm already planning escape routes.

This is not the first time I have made that particular PLD. We actually started watching Supernatural right before Matt left town for five days. After that, I told him he couldn't leave me again unless he got me a ferocious guard dog. Look how well that turned out:

Millie, mommy, zombies--gang's all here!
Sometimes, when it comes to making PLDs, you have to make them over and over again until you get it right.

What are your biggest PLDs? Share with the rest of us so we can all feel not-so-alone with our poor decision making skills.

Much Love,

Kate
