Well, dear reader, your wait is over.
1. Eat all the things
There is no better excuse to eat whatever you want than celebrating the anniversary of a celebration. You'll want to focus on the three main food groups--carbs, cheese, and meat--but it's okay to throw in a healthy amount of red velvet cheesecake as well.
2. Drink up
A wedding anniversary also serves as the perfect excuse to spend $35 on a bottle of champagne--fancy toasting glasses require fancy beverages.
3. Relive wedding memories
One way to do this is by going through your guestbook--you'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll scratch your head as you try to decipher who kept signing ornaments as Peyton Manning.
4. Celebrate EVERYTHING
You're going to be in a partying mood, so why not take advantage of that by celebrating other momentous anniversaries, such as the 80th anniversary of the repeal of prohibition?
5. Spend quality time with your family
You should definitely have alone time with your spouse, but make sure your children don't feel neglected.
Marriage is tough work (just ask Kim Kardashian!), so any time you manage to make it through another year without any major catastrophes is definitely a cause worth celebrating.
