If you follow social media at all, then you've probably heard about a little thing called the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I'm sure by now you've been bombarded with "early access sale picks," so I'll try not to overwhelm you any further. Honestly, I'm feeling kind of overwhelmed myself! At one point, I had almost $700 worth of stuff in my shopping cart--and I'd say about $200 of it was probably baby clothes. I managed to eliminate quite a bit, and got that total down to a reasonable number within my budget. Then, I started browsing again, trying to find a variety of items to share with you all, and suddenly I found a million more things I wanted. So we're back to square one.
Anyway, here's just a sampling of what I'm trying to choose from--as you can imagine, it's going to be hard to pick just a few things! It's one of those times when I think to myself, "gosh Kate! Hurry up and get that novel finished so it can be part of Reese Witherspoon's book club and get turned into a movie lickety split. Then you can spend all you want at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale!" #Priorities.
Our weekend plans are a bit up in the air right now--I ordered this bed a few weeks ago, and it's getting delivered tomorrow! Hooray! But, we're still waiting to hear on the timing of the 4 hour delivery window, so we'll likely just be hanging around the house tomorrow. Sunday, of course, is for swim class, and later that day we'll be meeting up with my former youth group leader who is in town for a wedding. I'm so excited for her to meet Aida--she was such a great mentor/role model for me growing up, I hope she'll be just as important to Aida!
|Our Youth Group Pink Lady-z reunion last summer--Aida was only the size of a Bell Pepper! (And we referred to her as "BP" all weekend.)|
